How does Experts Business First use your personal data?

Who is responsible

The data controller for this website and for enquiries and bookings made through it is Experts Business First.

This notice is written for the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. It is not copied from another travel brand.

What we collect

Depending on whether you browse, enquire or book, we may process:

• Name, email address, phone number and message text from quote forms
• Travel details: origins, destinations, dates, cabin, passenger counts, and names as you provide them for ticketing
• Payment references and invoice history once a booking is made (card data is handled by the payment provider, not stored as full card numbers on this site)
• Technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, where needed to run the site securely

We do not ask for special-category health data as a routine part of a flight quote. If you volunteer medical or assistance information so we can request airline help, we use it only for that purpose.

Why we use it

• Quotes and bookings — to research fares, issue tickets and send itineraries (contract / steps before a contract).
• Legal duties — ATOL, tax, accounting and airline security name records where the law or the carrier requires it.
• Legitimate interests — to reply to enquiries, keep the site secure, and improve how the quote form works. You can object where the law allows.
• Consent — optional marketing emails, only if you opt in. You can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell personal data.

Who we share it with

We share what is necessary with:

• Airlines, GDS and ticket issuers so a booking can be made
• Payment processors
• Email and hosting providers that run this website
• Regulators or the CAA where ATOL or other law requires it

Some airlines and processors are outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on an appropriate transfer tool (for example the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy regulation) or on the necessity of the transfer to perform the contract you asked for.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records that do not become a booking are kept only as long as needed to complete the quote and any short follow-up, then deleted or anonymised unless the law requires a longer period. Booking records are kept for the period needed for ATOL, tax and airline claims — typically at least six years after the last ticketed travel date, and longer if a dispute is open.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, to object to certain processing, and to receive a portable copy of data you provided. These rights are not absolute. To use them, email info@expertsbusinessfirst.co.uk from the address we hold on file where possible.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage that are necessary to run the site (for example session security and form submission). We may use analytics cookies to understand which pages are used; those are set only where the law requires a choice and you accept them. You can also control cookies in your browser. This notice covers cookies as well as privacy.

Third-party tools (for example a live-chat widget, if enabled) set their own cookies under their policies. We do not use hidden keyword blocks or tracking that is unrelated to running the service.

Changes

If we change this notice in a material way we will update this notice. The “Updated” date in the header is the date of the current version.
