Quick answer
Which UK airports fly nonstop to Dubai in business class?
Emirates publishes nonstop Dubai service from eight UK airports — Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh — which makes Dubai the easiest Gulf city to reach in a lie-flat seat without connecting.
The aircraft is not the same at each one. Emirates states Heathrow is six daily flights all operated by the A380, Gatwick four daily including its first London A350, Manchester three daily A380 services, Birmingham double daily with one A380, and Newcastle and Glasgow daily.
Frequencies and aircraft are the airline's own published pattern and change with the season; our guide fare is £1,323 return from London (LON), checked, and is not a live booking price.
Price your nearest airport and Heathrow together. On a route this well served the regional premium is usually small, and the aircraft you get may matter more than the fare gap.
- Emirates serves eight UK airports nonstop to Dubai
- Emirates is Heathrow Terminal 3; most Gulf carriers are T4
- Heathrow: six daily, all A380
- Gatwick: four daily, including an A350
- The arrival is Dubai International (DXB)

Starting prices by UK departure airport
Starting prices for each UK departure. Your airline and your exact fare are confirmed on your quote.
Dubai is the one Gulf arrival where the UK departure question has a real answer rather than a shrug. Emirates publishes nonstop service from eight UK airports, so for most of the country the choice is not whether you can fly direct but which airport and which aircraft.
Which UK airports have a nonstop to Dubai?
Emirates states it serves the UK across its three London airports — Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted — plus Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh, on a record 146 weekly flights. That is the widest UK nonstop footprint of any long-haul carrier serving the Middle East, and it is why Dubai behaves differently from every other city in this section of the site.
Emirates also flies Stansted and Edinburgh. Frequencies and aircraft are the airline's published pattern and move with the season, so we confirm the actual aircraft on the dates you give us rather than promising a specific cabin here.
Heathrow or Gatwick — on this route the aircraft is the difference
Most UK long-haul decisions come down to how you reach the airport. Dubai is one of the few where the two London options are flying different metal. Heathrow is an all-A380 operation on Emirates; Gatwick mixes A380 rotations with the A350 that Emirates describes as its first at a London airport.
That is a real choice, not a detail. The A380 and A350 business cabins are laid out differently, boarding and disembarking take different amounts of time, and on a seven-hour overnight the cabin you are actually in is the product you bought. If you have a preference, say so when you enquire and we will price to it.
Dubai International (DXB), not Al Maktoum (DWC)
The arrival is Dubai International (DXB), the airport almost every UK itinerary uses. Dubai's second airport, Al Maktoum International (DWC), sits well to the south-west near Jebel Ali and handles a different mix of traffic. A quote showing DWC is not a cheaper version of the same trip — it is a different arrival with a different transfer, and on a short stay the ground time can undo the fare difference.
Two onward trips are worth naming here, because travellers routinely try to fold them into a Dubai ticket. If your trip is actually to Abu Dhabi, that is a separate emirate with its own airport and its own fare: see business class to Abu Dhabi. And if the real destination is Oman, driving out of Dubai crosses an international border — business class to Muscat prices the flight instead.
What the guide fare means
Our current indicative business class guide fare to Dubai is £1,323 return from London (LON), checked. First class is indicatively from £2,625. Those are dated starting prices for the cabin and route shown, and your exact fare is confirmed on your quote. The departure board shows what each UK origin currently carries.
Before you book Dubai
- Confirm the arrival is DXB, not DWC.
- Ask which aircraft your rotation is — on Emirates from London the answer differs by airport.
- Emirates uses Heathrow Terminal 3. Most other Middle East carriers at Heathrow are in Terminal 4, so a connection between them is an inter-terminal transfer, not a walk.
- Check whether your dates fall across a UAE public holiday or the Dubai Airshow cycle before assuming the fare is the fare.
- Ask what the fare rules allow if the return has to move. Premium-cabin private fares are often more restrictive than the cabin suggests.
Dubai is the Gulf arrival you can reach from the widest range of UK airports. Our guide to business class across the Gulf sets out which of the eight cities the other carriers fly to, and from where.

How much is business class to Dubai from the UK?
The lowest indicative guide fare we currently hold is £1,323 return from London (LON), checked. Because eight UK airports have their own Dubai nonstop, the departure board below is more useful than a single number — the spread between airports on this route is narrower than on any other Gulf city we cover.
Which UK airports fly nonstop to Dubai?
Emirates states it serves Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh, on 146 weekly UK flights. That is the widest UK nonstop footprint of any carrier serving the Gulf.
Does the A380 fly to Dubai from my airport?
Emirates publishes all six daily Heathrow flights as A380, three daily A380 services from Manchester, a daily A380 from Glasgow, a daily A380 among its two Birmingham flights, and three A380 rotations at Gatwick alongside an A350. Aircraft change with the season, so we confirm it on your dates.
What is the difference between Heathrow and Gatwick for Dubai?
On Emirates, Heathrow is an all-A380 operation. Gatwick mixes A380 flights with the airline's first A350 at a London airport. The two business cabins are laid out differently, so the airport choice changes the product, not just the journey to it.
Which Dubai airport does this fare use?
Dubai International (DXB). Al Maktoum International (DWC) is Dubai's second airport, further from the city, and is not the same arrival. We confirm the airport code on the ticket.
Which Heathrow terminal is Emirates?
Heathrow lists Emirates in Terminal 3. Most other Middle East carriers at Heathrow — including Qatar Airways, Etihad, Gulf Air, Kuwait Airways, Oman Air, Saudia and Riyadh Air — are listed in Terminal 4, so connecting between them means changing terminals.
Is Dubai the same as Abu Dhabi?
No. They are separate emirates with separate airports, roughly 90 minutes apart by road, and they price differently. Abu Dhabi is AUH and has its own page.
Can I fly business class to Dubai from Scotland?
Emirates publishes a daily A380 service from Glasgow and also serves Edinburgh. Our departure board shows what each UK origin currently carries as a guide fare.
Is first class available to Dubai?
We currently hold a first class fare from £2,625. Because the aircraft differs by UK airport on this route, whether a first cabin exists on your rotation depends partly on which airport you fly from — we check the specific flight rather than the route.
Are these Dubai fares guaranteed?
No. With eight UK airports and several aircraft types on the same city pair, the Dubai fare moves more by rotation than most. The figures here were checked and we price your actual dates and airport before you commit.
