Quick answer
Which Manila terminal will you actually land at, and is your next flight there?
Ask, because Manila has four terminals and they are not connected by walkway. Moving between them means a free shuttle running every 15 to 30 minutes, or a taxi. An international arrival and a domestic departure can easily be in different buildings.
It is also changing. Under the operator's announced reshuffle, five carriers move from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 on 29 March 2026 and Japan Airlines follows on 1 April, with Terminal 3 becoming the international terminal for full-service airlines.
Our lowest indicative business class guide fare is £1,826 return from Newcastle (NCL), checked. Terminal assignments are the operator's published plans and are confirmed on your quote.
If you are continuing to Cebu, Palawan or Bohol, put the domestic sector on the same ticket — a terminal change you did not plan for is where that connection breaks.
- NAIA has four terminals, not connected by walkway
- A free shuttle runs between them every 15 to 30 minutes
- Philippine Airlines publishes the Heathrow nonstop from Terminal 4
- Several carriers move Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 on 29 March 2026
- Terminal 3 becomes the full-service international terminal

Starting prices by UK departure airport
Starting prices for each UK departure. Your airline and your exact fare are confirmed on your quote.
On most long-haul destinations the airline decides whether your trip works. On Manila it is the terminal, and for the whole of 2026 the terminals have been moving.
Four terminals, and no walkway between them
Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) has four terminals, and they are not joined. There is no concourse walk from one to another. Moving between them means a free shuttle bus every 15 to 30 minutes, or a taxi if you are short of time — and Manila traffic is not a thing to be short of time in.
For a UK traveller this matters most on the part of the journey people plan least carefully: the domestic sector afterwards. An arrival from London and an onward flight to Cebu, Palawan or Bohol can sit in different buildings, and a connection built on the assumption that they do not is the most common way a Philippines itinerary goes wrong.
The terminals are being reassigned through 2026
The airport's operator has announced a reshuffle, which makes "which terminal?" a question with a moving answer rather than a fixed one.
These are the operator's published plans and plans move. We confirm the terminal that actually applies to your dates rather than printing one here and hoping.
The nonstop, and what we will not claim about it
Philippine Airlines publishes a nonstop service between London Heathrow and Manila, departing Heathrow from Terminal 4.
We are not going to give you a weekly frequency for it. The sources we can stand behind disagree with each other, and a frequency is precisely the kind of figure that is quoted confidently and turns out to be last year's. We confirm the actual pattern on your dates instead.
The alternative shape is a connection through a Gulf or Asian hub — Hong Kong among them — which on this route is a perfectly ordinary way to travel rather than a second-best one. What it adds is another terminal question at the hub, which is worth asking about there too.
Where our Manila fares depart from
Business class to Manila is £1,826 return from Newcastle (NCL), checked.
London is not the cheapest departure. That is worth noticing, because the nonstop departs Heathrow, so the cheapest departure and the simplest journey are not the same starting point here. The spread across the five is £288, which is narrow enough that the decision is more about how you want to travel than about the money.
Manila as an arrival, and as a staging post
A great many UK trips to the Philippines are not really trips to Manila. They are trips to somewhere reachable only through it. That is worth being explicit about at the quote stage, because it changes the ticket:
- If Manila is the destination, the terminal question is about your arrival only, and it is simple.
- If Manila is a staging post, the domestic sector belongs on the same itinerary. On one ticket, a late long-haul and a missed onward flight are the airline's problem. Bought separately to save a little, they are yours, in a terminal you have to reach by shuttle.
Clark (CRK) exists and serves some traffic, but we do not price it on this page, and it is a substantial drive from the capital. If someone offers it to you as "Manila", it is not.
Before you book Manila
- Ask which terminal each sector uses, for your dates, not in general.
- Put any Philippine domestic flight on the same itinerary.
- Allow for a shuttle between terminals rather than a walk.
- Confirm the arrival is MNL and not Clark.
- Tell us the island you are actually heading for — on the Philippines that shapes the ticket before price does.
Manila is reached on a connection from the UK. Our guide to business class across Asia sets out which Asian arrivals have nonstops.
FAQs
What do travellers ask about business class to Manila?
Prefer to talk? +447348617176 .
How much is business class to Manila from the UK?
Business class starts from £1,826 return, departing Newcastle (NCL) rather than London, checked. First class is indicatively from £3,429, though on this route the terminal question matters more than the cabin one.
Is there a direct flight from the UK to Manila?
Philippine Airlines publishes a nonstop between London Heathrow and Manila, departing from Heathrow Terminal 4. We confirm the pattern that actually applies to your dates.
How often does the nonstop run?
We are not going to publish a number we cannot stand behind — the sources available to us disagree. Ask and we will confirm the operating pattern for your travel dates.
How many terminals does Manila airport have?
Four, and they are not connected by walkway. A free shuttle runs between them every 15 to 30 minutes, or you can take a taxi. It is the single most important practical fact about this airport.
Are Manila terminal assignments changing?
Yes. Under the operator's announced reshuffle, Air China, China Eastern, Vietnam Airlines, Royal Brunei and Shenzhen Airlines move from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 on 29 March 2026, and Japan Airlines follows on 1 April 2026. Terminal 3 becomes the all-international terminal for full-service carriers.
Will my domestic flight leave from the same terminal?
Often not. Terminal 2 remains domestic, so an international arrival and a Philippine onward flight can be in different buildings. Allow for the shuttle, and keep both sectors on one itinerary.
Should I book the flight to Cebu or Palawan separately?
We would advise against it here more strongly than on most destinations. On one ticket a delayed long-haul makes the onward connection the airline's responsibility. Bought separately, a missed connection is yours, in a terminal you still have to reach.
Which UK airport is cheapest for Manila?
On current guide fares it is Newcastle (NCL), not London — worth knowing, because the nonstop leaves Heathrow, so the cheapest departure and the simplest journey are different starting points. The spread across the five is £288.
Is Clark airport an alternative to Manila?
Not for this fare. Clark (CRK) serves some traffic but it is a substantial drive from the capital. If an itinerary offers it as "Manila", it is not the same arrival.
Which airport does this Manila fare use?
Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL).
Are these Manila fares guaranteed?
No. They are dated indicative guide fares, checked. On a Philippines itinerary the domestic sector you add afterwards often moves the total more than the long-haul cabin does.
How do I request a Manila business class quote?
