Quick answer
Who flies nonstop from the UK to Bahrain in business class?
Two carriers. Gulf Air, Bahrain's national airline, operates from London Heathrow Terminal 4 and sells its business cabin as Falcon Gold. British Airways added a daily Bahrain to London service from 27 October 2025.
Gulf Air runs its own Falcon Gold lounge inside Heathrow Terminal 4, which is unusual for a carrier of its size and is a practical difference on an evening departure.
Frequencies are the airlines' published announcements and change with the season. Our guide fare is £1,346 return from London (LON), checked.
Ask which of the two you are being quoted. Falcon Gold and Club World are different products at a similar fare, and the lounge and terminal differ too.

Bahrain is a two-airline route from the UK, and the two airlines are selling genuinely different things at a similar price. Which one you end up on is worth deciding rather than discovering.
Two operators, one nonstop city pair
Gulf Air is Bahrain's national carrier and is listed by Heathrow in Terminal 4. Its business cabin is sold as Falcon Gold — the name matters, because it is what you will see on the ticket and in the lounge signage rather than the words "business class".
British Airways announced that from 27 October 2025 it would operate a daily service from Bahrain, describing the change as more than doubling the number of times it flies to London per week and adding over 9,000 additional seats to the route. BA's business cabin is Club World, and BA operates from Heathrow Terminals 3 and 5.
Those are the two nonstop operators we can evidence from the airlines' and the airport's own publications. One-stop itineraries through other Gulf hubs also exist and are sometimes cheaper; we will show you both shapes rather than assuming you want the nonstop at any price.
Falcon Gold and Club World are not the same purchase
A like-for-like business class fare on this route can buy two different days.
If you are flying up from a UK regional airport to connect at Heathrow, that last connection is the one that decides your morning. An inter-terminal transfer at Heathrow is not a walk, and a booking engine will sell you a connection shorter than you would choose.
Bahrain International (BAH) — an island arrival, and the causeway
The arrival is Bahrain International Airport (BAH) on Muharraq Island, close to Manama. Bahrain is a small archipelago, and the airport is genuinely near the city rather than an hour out of it, which is worth knowing if you are comparing arrival times against a Gulf alternative.
The other thing travellers ask about is the King Fahd Causeway to Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province — the reason some business travellers choose Bahrain over a flight into Riyadh. It exists and people use it. We will not advise you on border crossing requirements — that is a question for official sources and your employer — but if Bahrain is your arrival because of an onward road move, tell us, because it changes which arrival time is useful to you.
Where Bahrain sits on price
Our current indicative business class guide fare to Bahrain is £1,346 return from London (LON), checked. First class is indicatively from £4,496. On current guide fares Bahrain is one of the lower business class guide fares in the region — well below Doha, and close to Kuwait, which is the other Gulf arrival served from London rather than from across the UK. The ladder from the regional UK airports rises fairly steeply here; the departure board shows it.
These are dated starting prices for the cabin and route shown, and your exact fare is confirmed on your quote.
What we confirm before quoting
- Which of the two operators the fare is actually built on, and therefore whether you are buying Falcon Gold or Club World.
- The Heathrow terminal, and whether your ticket involves changing terminals.
- Whether the itinerary is the nonstop or a one-stop through another Gulf hub — sometimes the one-stop is materially cheaper and you should get to choose.
- The arrival code BAH, and the arrival time if you have an onward road move.
- The fare rules, because premium-cabin private fares are often more restrictive than the cabin suggests.
Bahrain gained a daily British Airways service alongside Gulf Air. Our guide to business class across the Gulf sets out how the eight Gulf cities differ on carrier and UK departure.

How much is business class to Bahrain from the UK?
The lowest indicative guide fare we currently hold is £1,346 return from London (LON), checked. The figure does not tell you whether it is built on Gulf Air or British Airways, which on this route is the difference between two different products — ask, because we know.
Which airlines fly nonstop from the UK to Bahrain?
Gulf Air, Bahrain's national carrier, is listed by Heathrow in Terminal 4. British Airways announced a daily Bahrain to London service from 27 October 2025. One-stop itineraries through other Gulf hubs also exist.
What is Falcon Gold?
Falcon Gold is Gulf Air's business class cabin. It is what appears on the ticket and the lounge signage rather than the words "business class", and it is a different product from British Airways' Club World at a broadly similar fare.
Is there a Gulf Air lounge at Heathrow?
Gulf Air publishes a Falcon Gold lounge in Heathrow Terminal 4, open 06:00 to 22:00 with seating for 120 passengers. Access depends on your ticket and status.
Which Heathrow terminal do I need for Bahrain?
Gulf Air is listed in Terminal 4. British Airways operates from Terminals 3 and 5. If you are connecting from a BA domestic flight onto Gulf Air, that is an inter-terminal transfer and needs more than a minimum connection.
Which airport does this Bahrain fare use?
Bahrain International Airport (BAH) on Muharraq Island, close to Manama. It is a comparatively short transfer into the city.
Can I use Bahrain to reach Saudi Arabia by road?
The King Fahd Causeway connects Bahrain to Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province and some business travellers use it. We cannot advise on border or visa requirements — check official sources — but tell us if that is your plan, because it changes which arrival time is useful.
Is business class to Bahrain cheaper than to Doha or Abu Dhabi?
On current guide fares Bahrain is one of the lower business class guide fares in the region. That is a dated observation from our own figures rather than a market claim, and it can change when we refresh these fares.
Is the regional UK fare to Bahrain much higher than London?
On current guide fares the ladder from the regional airports rises fairly steeply above the London fare. The departure board shows the current spread, and we will price your airport against London rather than assume.
Is first class available to Bahrain?
We currently hold a first class fare from £4,496, which sits a long way above the business figure on this route. Gulf Air sells Falcon Gold as its premium cabin; a first class itinerary is therefore likely to involve a different carrier or routing, and we confirm which.
Are these Bahrain fares guaranteed?
No. Bahrain has two nonstop operators selling different products at similar fares, so the figure you are quoted depends on which of them the itinerary is built on. The figures here were checked.
